Well i decided it was time to spread my wings and fly away, little reason to stay about in the uk so why not! I got 6 months off and reckon I can afford 5 months of travel. So fuck it here goes!
Plus i need a holiday it'll have been 5 years since my last one so 5 months off seems fair to me!
Who knows whats gonna happen, I'm sure I'll cause some trouble, get into trouble and with some luck learn a great deal about myself and the world around me. As long as I survive, learn and have a hell of a lot of fun then it'll be worth it.
So the flights booked. One way ticket to Bangkok, leaving on the 7th December 2011 at 07:25, 9 hour stop over in Dusseldorf which I intend spending drinking Altbier on Ratinger Straße and eating some Düsseldorfer Senfrostbraten! Thats right I've done my research already!
All being well and as long as I ain't too drunk I leave Dusseldorf at 17:20 and arrive in Bangkok at 10:05 the next morning.
So 6000 miles and 19 hours later I'll arrive in Thailand, gonna book myself into a nice hotel, recover for a bit then go see Bangkok at night!
The next step will be head south to the islands, see the sights, meet some people and party like its 1994. Then relax!
